This position will develop the marketing strategy, programs, and tactics to drive growth in Level 3’s Large Enterprise segment.  They will manage the execution of awareness and demand generation marketing campaigns targeting the large enterprise market.  This person will also assist in developing the value-prop content and materials to be used in collateral, web properties, and sales tools to enable sales to effectively sell Level 3 enterprise communication solutions.
Postion details:
1. Develops the marketing strategy, campaigns and tactics to create brand and portfolio awareness as well as to create sales leads for Level 3 services in the Fortune 1000
2. Works with Market Management and Sales to ensure compelling value-propositions are created and utilized in the development on sales tools and collateral
3. Drives marketing programs and events to facilitate customer relationships
4. Drives customer communication programs and enterprise messaging and content including newsletters and Level3.com/Business sites
5. Utilizes various marketing tactics to nurture leads from awareness to consideration
6. Works with Marketing Operations and Sales team to ensure lead conversion and follow-up is occurring and executive reports are being created
7. Manage to a marketing budget for assigned programs
8. Works across enterprise market groups and Offer Management function to develop marketing plans
9. Provides reporting to senior management on marketing campaign results
10. Adhere to company’s style guidelines in communications
11. Interface with marcom and/or agencies on creative development
12. Provides support for data input and analysis
13. Research market-specific demographics, marketing strategies and messaging of competitors
Requirements:
 7 years experience marketing complex communication or IT services to the Fortune 1000 enterprise
 7+ years of experience of the best practices of various B2B demand generation strategies and tactics targeting the enterprise
 Experience writing value-proposition materials targeting various specific roles within a large enterprise
 Knowledge of decision making process for communication and IT services within Fortune 1000
 Experience running telemarketing and appointment setting programs
 Experience with database marketing and managing customer communication programs
 Understanding of Financial Services and Healthcare verticals
