CTP Committees
Getting involved with one of CTP’s committees provides you a creative outlet to develop compelling opportunities and connect with your peers. If you’re interested in volunteering for any of the committees, click here.

CTP Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee manages all the details for promotions and public relations for CTP. The committee issues promotional emails for monthly events, maintains PR with local newspapers and publications, produces CTP brochures, and performs market research. Members currently on the committee have marketing expertise that ranges from large company marketing campaigns to startups with specialty marketing services.

CTP Membership Committee

If you’ve always had a persuasive nature about you, then the Membership Committee may be your thing! This group is out and about recruiting and retaining members. They provide information about CTP to people interested in becoming a part of a dynamic organization that focuses o¬n boosting professional development and offers lively networking events. Committee members also attend events and help with membership activities such as sign-in, new memberships, renewals and updating member information.

CTP Programs Committee

The Programs Committee organizes programs each year that take an in-depth look at what’s going on in the different industries our members represent. The committee works with leaders and experts to find commanding speakers and demonstrations for each event. Our past programs have covered the gamut of what’s hot in the industry, including e-Commerce, investing, application service providers, cable television, interactive applications, mergers and acquisitions, customer relationship management and third generation wireless applications. CTP also sponsors the Future of Communications program, held early each year, when hundreds of professionals gather to hear about the direction of the industry.

CTP Social Committee

If you have more activities scheduled than you have days in the week, then you may be a prime candidate for the Social Committee. Consolidate your contacts by helping this committee host networking events every few months at a Denver hotspot. In the past we've provided posh venues such as Hotel Monaco, Inverness Hotel, University Club, and Wellshire Golf Club. CTP members enjoy free admission (with advance registration) to social events that typically offer hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

CTP Sponsorship Committee

Corporate Sponsors and Premier Partners support CTP programs and provide an avenue through which we get to know each other better. The Sponsorship Committee proactively attracts sponsors and partners and nurtures existing relationships that benefit CTP and add value to our members. The committee works closely with the Board of Directors and other committees to cultivate an environment that benefits sponsors, partners and CTP members.

CTP Business Development Committee

The Business Development Committee is our eyes and ears in the technology community. Committee members look for ways for CTP to partner with other technology associations and groups. They also forge long-term partnerships with leading government and education groups.

CTP Web Committee

The CTP Web site is one of the main ways in which we communicate with members and others interested in the Colorado technology community. The Web Committee creates ideas for enhancing and maintaining the CTP Web site. The group works with the Board of Directors, CTP members, volunteers, sponsors, and partners to deliver a site that’s compelling, professional, and effective.
